python-ajax-select software package provides Django library for editing fields with autocomplete, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-ajax-select
python-ajax-select is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-ajax-select package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-ajax-select *
You will get with python-ajax-select package name, version, architecture and description in a table
